The Ferrari 458 is an Italian sports car designed by Pininfarina and produced by Italian automaker Ferrari since 2010 as a replacement for the Ferrari F430 . 1 It was revealed to the press on July 28, 2009 and presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009.
It is a car of two posts with 8-cylinder engine and a design largely benefited the company's experience in Formula 1 . Despite being billed as the replacement for the F430 and have some similarities in design, as claimed by Ferrari in the press release, is a completely new car from the technical point of view.
The V8 4.5-liter (4499 cc) pays out 570 hp (419 kW) at 9000 rpm and maximum torque yields of 540 Nm at 6000 rpm, with 80% of it available at 3250 rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection for the first time in a Ferrari mid-engine configuration.
